Turmzimmer

The “Tower Room” is our largest, most beautiful and highest room. With 38 m² and a room height of 6 m, you have a clear view of the cathedral towers. The real wood oak floor with its open structure and the roof beams from the 15th century complement each other perfectly with unusual designer furniture. Our answer to the classic chandelier is called “Hope” from Luceplan with a diameter of 120 cm – a feast for the eyes for every light lover.

Turmzimmer – The “Golden Tower” in view

The tradition of the tower is a construction method that was adopted from medieval Italy. It is an expression of the status of influential patrician families. The higher a family’s tower was built, the greater their prestige. The individual towers were also built as fortresses. This meant that access to the higher floors was usually only possible via ladders, which could be pulled up in the event of a siege.
