Our two junior suites with up to 34 m² offer a very special retreat in the middle of Regensburg’s old town. The bedroom is separated from the kitchenette by a medieval stone arch. All rooms have real wood oak floors with an open surface structure. The modern bathrooms have windows and a mosaic floor. The basic lighting system is from Occio. Be surprised by our unusual ceiling lights. The armchairs can be used as a sofa bed for a third person.
The blue glass of the 12th century is of outstanding quality. The most famous examples are the “Bleu de ciel” in the church windows of Chartres and Saint-Denis. The special luminosity of these precious “sapphire” glasses with their peculiarly radiant blue is due to the higher permeability for the red part of the color spectrum. The blue of this room also shines like sapphire glass.
