Craftsmanship & Christmas magic
at the AltstadtQuartier Hotel Münchner Hof
Small, special and full of Christmas magic!
We look forward to three enchanting days with you – in the heart of Regensburg, yet a little removed from the rest of the world.
For the seventh time, our lovingly decorated courtyard opens its gates for “Christmas in the Courtyard” – our small, delightful arts and crafts market in the heart of Regensburg’s old town.
Away from the pre-Christmas bustle, our little Christmas island invites you to discover, marvel and linger. With views of the cathedral towers, watched over by “My Lady” and surrounded by a generous helping of Christmas magic.

Special Light Art from Nature
Anna and Markus Fuchshuber | Regensburg
With great attention to detail, Anna and Markus Fuchshuber create these special lamps as a shared project close to their hearts.
Small works of art are created from real ostrich eggs:
Fine, hand-milled drawings transform each shell into a unique piece full of poetry.
Softly illuminated from within, they unfold a warm, magical glow: a light that touches both heart and room.
Each lamp is a one-of-a-kind piece, mounted with elegant fittings on driftwood: a piece of nature that tells stories.
In addition to the artfully milled lamps, there are also simple versions without milling, enchanting with their natural beauty and the delicate structure of the egg.

The Shell Whisperer
Gerd Zwerenz | Regensburg
It is said that the sea gives its treasures only to those who understand its language.
“Abalone – The Luminescent Ocean Vessel”
This extraordinarily shimmering abalone shell is more than a natural find: it is a hand-shaped masterpiece from the deep sea. Its iridescent shades of blue, green and rosé recall liquid moonlight and make it an object that calms, inspires and fascinates at the same time.
Whether on a coffee table, on an altar or at the center of a special moment, this abalone is not merely decorative, but energetic: a quiet companion radiating protection, gentleness and depth.
An object for people who do not need to show elegance loudly, but magnetically.
A piece of the sea that decided to keep working.
